Halifax to Dover

Stayed in Halifax another night. Played tourist, saw the citadel and the Atlantic Maritime museum. A good day.

Left halifax. Hmm! strong winds out of the south west. Exactly the way I want to head, And the fun just won't stop. Luckily I planned a short run, to Dover Harbour. 20 miles, takes me all day and I get in just as it gets dark. Picked the wrong channel and bumped a hard bottom, more than once or twice. Got the anchor down and it held well.
