There are many nice condos at Gulf Shores. Why would I choose this one?

Our first visit to the Gulf Shores was an amazing find for both of us. When we found our condo we fell in love with it and the feeling of comfort and warmth it provided. Knowing that we live and work in Texas will prevent us from enjoying the place year round, why not share it with others? Hopefully it will give you the peace and tranquility we experience every time we visit.

Here are few deciding factors we considered when  making this condo our second home:

  • The sound of the surf. The beach is right there at your fingertips!!
  • Nine foot ceiling gives our home a roomy feel. None of that trapped in a shoe box feeling.
  • Elegantly furnished, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
  • Our condo is on the fourth floor. Close enough to hear the surf, but not too high to cause a nose bleed.
  • The complex is very well equipped with an indoor/outdoor pool, exercise room, sauna and Jacuzzi.
  • Wide roomy balcony.
  • Walking distance to restaurants and stores.

Additionally, we provide services such as wireless internet access inclusive in the rental rates.

Where do I pick up the keys?

Entry is achieved by keypad access. Each code is unique to your visit and expires when you check out. The access code will mailed or emailed to you when full payment is made.

When do I need to pay for the rental?

Twenty-five percent of the rental fee is due when reserving. Full payment is due 30 days before your visit.

Why do I have to pay a vehicle registration fee?

Island Royale monitors the parking lot regularly, looking for people using the parking facilities but not staying at the complex. This fee covers their cost of identifying vehicles that are qualified to be using the parking lot.

If I need to cancel my reservation, can I get my deposit back?

Cancellations made 30 days before occupancy will get a full refund. Note however that the processing fee is not refundable.

What do I do if something breaks during my visit?

Our condo is professionally managed and the management company provides a hotline for breakdowns. The number is 251.968.7516 or 800.775.8945.

What do I need to bring with me?

You will need to bring anything related to activities outside the condo such as beach towels and beach chairs. golf clubs, etc. There is a grocery store just over the road and also chain grocery stores on the island so you can always pick up your groceries after you arrive. But if you plan on arriving late, better bring that coffee and breakfast cereal with you.

I would also recommend bringing a set of binoculars for watching the dolphins, schooling fish and boats from the balcony.

What are your favorite restaurants?

Our favorite is the closest to the Condo, just a very short walk. Bahama Bob's has the best menu in town and the food is just gorgeous.

Is there a check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is 3:00pm and check-out is 10:00am.
